In its May 9, 2019 issue, the scientific journal Nature highlighted the remarkable Muse-IC project, which culminated in a public concert held in Paris, at Salle Cortot, on March 12, 2019.
Muse-IC offered six composers the opportunity to create a musical work inspired by a recent scientific discovery. Each of the six composers selected a scientific theme that resonated with them from among about fifteen recent discoveries proposed by the Research Center of the Institut Curie (Paris), the Institut d’Astrophysique Spatiale (Paris-Saclay), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (United States).
